About PattayaTools

Independent · last reviewed June 2026

PattayaTools is an independent project with one job: give anyone thinking about Pattaya — to live, invest or just visit — honest numbers they can actually trust, for free, with nothing hidden.

The internet is full of Pattaya advice that's either out of date, copied from a brochure, or quietly trying to sell you something with made-up figures. We built the opposite: a set of fast, transparent calculators and clearly-written guides where you can see exactly where every number comes from and change it if you disagree.

What makes these tools different

How we keep the lights on

We believe in being upfront about money. PattayaTools is free to use and supported in three honest ways: optional affiliate links to services you might need anyway (like insurance comparison or money transfers), introductions to vetted local professionals if you ask for them, and — down the line — licensing these tools to relocation firms and agents. We never let any of that change the numbers. The calculators show you the real figures regardless of who pays us.

The honest limits

These are planning tools, not professional advice. They're built to get you 90% of the way with realistic ranges — but Pattaya prices move, immigration rules change, and your situation is unique. For anything that touches your money, taxes, health or visa status, confirm the specifics with an official source or a licensed professional before you act. Every tool says this clearly, and we mean it.

Our promise: sourced, dated, editable, and honest about what we don't know. If a number here ever looks wrong, that's a bug — tell us and we'll fix it.

Who runs it

PattayaTools is built and maintained by a small independent operator who follows Pattaya closely — not a government body, not a property developer, and not affiliated with any official agency. The numbers come from public, citable sources (you'll find the full list on the Methodology & Sources page), and the site is kept current by hand.
